Sources and verification
News is based on reports from official bodies, the police and leading media. We name the source, and if information could not be confirmed independently, we say so.
Presumption of innocence
In stories about detentions and suspicions we write “suspect” and “according to the police”. Only a court establishes guilt.

- Advertisement — paid content, always labelled.
Corrections
If we make a mistake, we fix the text, add a dated entry to the “Corrections” block under the article and mark it as updated. Spotted an error? Write to kyivinformation@gmail.com with a link to the article.

Illustrative photos are credited on the “Photo credits” page. We follow licence terms and name the authors.
Independence
