Advertising of “easy earnings” has flooded social networks: photos of a luxury life and promises of guaranteed profit. Behind this there are usually fraudsters.

How the scheme works

  1. You are promised a high and stable income.
  2. You are asked to invest a small sum to “try it”.
  3. A fake platform shows your profit growing.
  4. When you invest more, you are not allowed to withdraw money or are asked for a “fee”.
  5. The contact disappears.

Signs of deception

  • Guaranteed profit: there are no guarantees in legitimate investments.
  • Pressure and haste: “the offer is valid only today”.
  • No licence and no company details.
  • A demand to transfer money to a private individual’s card or a crypto wallet.
  • Ads featuring “famous people” who in fact promoted nothing.

How to check

Ask whether the company has a licence. Look for reviews not on its own site. Do not give a “broker” remote access to your computer.

The golden rule

Do not invest money you are not ready to lose, and never believe in guaranteed high returns.

If you have been deceived

Keep correspondence and receipts, tell your bank and the police. Beware of “specialists” who offer to return your money for a prepayment.
