During power and heat outages, Points of Invincibility operate in Kyiv. There you can charge your phone, warm up and get basic help. Addresses change, so it is important to use current sources rather than old lists from the internet.

Where to find the current map

It is easiest to look in three places:

  • Diia: the map of Points of Invincibility is available even without internet. The path to the section depends on the app version: it may be under “Services” or under “Safety”/“Resilience map”. If one path does not work, try the other.
  • Kyiv Digital: the city’s app with a map of the points.
  • The official KMDA portal: the current list of addresses.

Old articles with addresses by district may be out of date, so for an exact address rely on these three resources.

Tip: download the map in advance

When there is neither electricity nor mobile internet, finding a point will be hard. Open the map in Diia before an outage so that it is saved for offline use, and remember one or two points closest to home.

What to bring

  • A phone with a charging cable and a power bank.
  • Documents and medicines if you take them daily.
  • Warm clothes and water.
  • A small item to pass the time if you are going with a child.

Where to get help in the regions

There are Points of Invincibility in the Kyiv region too, and their lists are kept by the district and regional military administrations. For security reasons, addresses in frontline regions are not always shown on public maps, so they should be checked with the local authorities.
