Kyiv police detained three men suspected of attacking a 26-year-old DJ. Media reported this on 17 September, citing law enforcement.
What the police report
According to investigators, the attackers beat the man, wounded him and took his belongings. The suspects were served notices of suspicion of armed robbery. Under this article, the law provides for punishment of up to 15 years’ imprisonment.
This is only the investigators’ version. Guilt is proved in court by the prosecution, and until a verdict the suspects are presumed innocent.
